SRH Fall Shot Clinic Thursday October 15

On Thursday, October 15th from 9 - 12:00, SRH is providing a fall shot clinic for horses located in Boxford/W. Boxford.

Farm visit fees are waived but owners must be present and payment is due at time of service.

The cost of the semi-annual rhino/flu is $30. (plus a $5. envirommental/hazardous waste fee). The cost of other shots can be obtained by calling SRH directly.

Companion Pony or Donkey Wanted

I have a friend in Stratham, NH who is looking for a small pony or miniature donkey to keep her older TB gelding company. She has just built a new barn, has lots of grass turnout, and she is a knowledgeable horse woman. The pony would receive excellent care. TO BENEFIT THE DISABLED RIDERS AT WINDRUSH FARM

Lunch including a hearty soup and home made cookies will be served at noon following the ride.

Please bring water for your horse and a folding chair for lunch. Riders will be in groups of five or fewer. This is a FUN ride!! Friends and walkers are welcome!

There is no standard fee to participate in the ride and walk but we encourage each participant to raise at least $50 through personal donations and by collecting pledges from family, friends, neighbors, etc! Invite your family & friends to sponsor your ride or walk by donating online!

JULY 12th HORSE TRIALS CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED TO AUGUST 23rd
Unfortunately, Mother Nature has ordered a very soggy season, and we must consider safety of horses and riders above all. We also cannot irreparably damage the footing on town property. The date is rescheduled to August 23rd. Thank you to all who had signed up to volunteer and please contact Amy Bresky, amybresky@yahoo.com, 978-363-2244, if you would like to volunteer for the August 23rd event.

CROSS COUNTRY COURSE REMAINS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Again, that soggy ground problem. Please check the website, wnrdc.com, and we'll post when it is open. It won't be until after we can schedule a clean-up day for obvious reasons.
