North Andover teen helps hikers at Windrush Farm by rehabbing trail

Visitors to Boxford's Windrush farm — both human and equine — will be able to walk the path around the 200-acre facility's pond, thanks to North Andover Boy Scout Garrett Melson. The 18-year-old spent 157 hours on his Eagle Scout project this summer, clearing a trail and building a wooden bridge and walkways over muddy spots, allowing people to use a footpath that was previously impassable…continue story
