At a ceremony inside Gillette Stadium Thursday, the Kraft family announced Marjorie Kittredge, of North Andover as one of this year’s honorees as a New England Patriots Community MVP.
Marj was recognized as a local community volunteer for her above-and-beyond service to others in the six New England states. She was nominated for her life’s work improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Marj founded WFTE, one of the first therapeutic equitation centers in the United States and was a pioneer in her field.
Amanda Hogan, Executive Director of Windrush Farm was at Gillette to accept the football shaped wooden trophy and a check for $1,500 to the nonprofit in her honor.
"Her dedication to bettering the lives of individuals with disabilities and her belief that “we are all capable of more than we think we are” is phenomenal. For that, she is an inspiration to us all,” said Amanda Hogan, Executive Director.
